I have been studying and practicing various forms of yoga and meditation since 1994. As a student and teacher, I follow the lineage of Sri T. Krishnamacharya who taught both B.K.S. Iyengar and K. Pattabhi Jois. In this tradition, yoga is a way to explore the relationships between ourselves, each other, and the world. It is an evolving form integrating philosophy, science, spirit, and art.  

My goal with students is to engender personal practice. In addition to teaching public classes, I work one on one with you to create a practice that is customized to fit your body, your life, and your goals.  It can take anywhere from one to six sessions to arrive at this sustainable personal practice.  When you have practiced for a while - a few months or a year - we get together again and develop a new practice to build on the progress you made.
